TMTQ was a project of
improvisations between two sax
players and two electroacoustic
musicians. The latter processed
the input signal of the
saxophones with Max/MSP. In
addition, audio compressors that
were used in unusual ways by
excessively amplifying the
microsounds of the saxophones
and suppressing the loud ones,
inverting the traditional use of
compressors. The
piece/performance has a
duration of twenty minutes and
was performed at Osvaldo’s
Warehouse, Santiago de Chile.
